|FERMENTATION||top fermentation, with secondary fermentation in bottle and keg|
golden specialty beer, I.P.A.-style (Indian Pale Ale)
|PACKAGING||bottle 33 cl - keg 30 L|
water, malt, hops (Sterling and Ammarillo) , top fermenting yeast and sugar for secondary fermentation
|HOW TO POUR||
Keep the bottle upright so that the yeast (secondary fermentation) remains at the bottom of the bottle. Pour in a non-greasy, well-rinsed and wet Contreras’ Especial Mars glass. Hold the glass at a 45-degree angle to pour the beer with a head of 2.5 cm, without the bottle touching the foam.
Leave 1 cm of bear (yeast) in the bottle. Serve the glass together with the bottle.
|POURING TEMPERATURE||6° C|
|FLAVOUR AND AROMA||
floral, spicy, well-balanced beer with a bitter hop finish full of aromas and flavour
During the British Colonial Times, the English exported beer to India. To preserve the beer for a longer period, extra-hopped beers were produced (hops maintain natural preservation and add bitterness to the beer).
